What is the Medigap Household Discount?

If you and your spouse sign up with the same Medigap insurance provider, you can receive up to 12% off the total. This discount will apply even if your spouse is already enrolled, and you newly apply.

Accendo is offering the highest household discount in the industry, with a 14% drop in price. Most companies range from 5% to 7%, so this is a great deal.

Additional Medigap Discounts

  • New to Medicare Discount: You may receive discounts up to $30 off for the first 12 months if you enroll with Medigap within 6 months of Part B effective date.
  • Medigap Auto-pay Discount: Some Medigap providers offer a flat rate discount for those who set up autopay. Usually $2 or $3 a month.
  • Gym Membership: Some Medigap providers offer the “silver sneaker” or similar programs that offer discounted or free gym memberships.
